Alarm
has been raised over a collaboration between the Chairman of the APC in
Rivers state, Davis Ikanya and the arrested official of the Independent
National Electoral Commission, INEC over malpractices.
An INEC official that was
reportedly missing was later traced to the Mile 1 police station in Port
Harcourt, River state where she was being held in police custody after
being in possession of a fake result sheet which she intended to swap
with the original before she was busted by the police.
The leadership of the APC in the state was alerted about her
incarceration and a couple of prominent figures in the party namely
Davis Ikanya, Dakuku Peterside, and Rotimi Amaechi marched to the police
station to secure her release.
Reports have it that the married woman named Ekwi was offered a cap
to secure her face by the APC chairman who has a personal relationship
with her as insinuated in the pictures below:
