Do not fall victim to fraudsters who are now using this shocking method to defraud bank customers of their money.
Nigerians have been given a clear warning to be very cautious
anytime they get messages directing them to divulge their Bank
Verification Number (BVN) as fraudsters now use it to defraud innocent
bank customers.
A new style they employ is by sending sly text messages to call
their numbers. Banks have warned their customers never to divulge any of
their important details to anybody as they do no use text messages to
resolve technical issues.
People have been warned to visit their nearest bank if they
experience problems and to ignore any message sent to their phones as it
is the work of fraudsters.
