A woman who has apparently grown tired of certain vicissitudes of life has found a way out of her misery.

The woman identified as one Christine Kiragu, has killed herself.
Christine, a mother of four kids committed suicide by throwing
herself in a well in Gituamba village, Subukia in Nakuru County on
Monday, September 19.
According to Tuko, Christine jumped into the well within her home compound on Monday at 5.30am.
Her husband Anthony Kiragu fainted immediately after hearing the
shocking news and was rushed to Faith Health Centre in Subukia town.
“The woman is known as a humble person and no reports of
domestic quarrel had been reported. His husband Anthony Kiragu who works
at Subukia Catholic Church had just left home for early morning mass
when the incident occurred,” said Subukia central chief Francis Kibe.
The reasons for her actions are yet to be known.
“Upon searching the house no suicide note was found,” said the Chief.
Her body, which was retrieved from the 45 feet deep well using
ropes with the help from neighbours, was taken to Nakuru war memorial
hospital mortuary.
According to Sabukia legislature Nelson Gaichuhie, the family has no history of domestic quarrels.
