in Africa, and foremost entertainment journalist, Emma Ugolee writes in
celebration of the legend, 2face Idibia.
As the super pop star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2face or
2baba turns 41 today, his very good friend, TV presenter and
entertainment enthusiast, Emma Ugolee writes a touching tribute to him.

We were born 2 weeks apart in the same hospital in Jos 1975. We
were in the same predegree class in Unijos 1992. We had no fence
between our schools Esut/IMT Enugu 1996. We were in the same industry in
Lagos 2000. We have become friends, business partners and brothers
living in the same axis of town 2016
Forming familiarity abi it's called famzing. Yes o! 100% famzing coz the boy is that great. Who wouldn't be proud of a connection to this icon of a fellow. Broken all the rules in his life and records in his business. 40 awards with just one song not to talk of the rest yet humility personified. The man has cheated death twice and survived every evil attempt to ruin him.

A global star but forever a homeboy to the day 1 people in his life. A great Father, Unusual friend, legendary entertainer who missed his calling as a stand up comedian. Today he adds an extra year to 4 decades of an eventful and fruitful life.
