A woman has received the shock of her life after dragging her husband to court only to make a weird discovery about him.
A Zimbabwean man from Harare yesterday shocked his wife when he revealed he had six other children she did not know about.
According to H Metro, the man identified as Chenjerai Manhanga was
taken to court by his wife Tsitsi Mazikani for allegedly failing to
provide for the child they sired together.
Tsitsi was demanding $240 for maintenance.
When asked if there was anything hindering him to pay the amount
requested by Tsitsi, Manahnga shockingly claimed he had other
responsibilities.
“I am a self-employed builder and have six other children that I
am also taking care of. At most I realize about $300 per month,” said Manhanga.
In response, Tsitsi said: “He has another wife and I did not
know how many children he had. He is a builder and he is employed and
realizes about $500 that’s what he told me. He sometimes does not come
home and I do not know where he sleeps,” said Tsitsi.
Manhanga, who could not produce evidence that he has six other
children, was ordered to bring the children’s birth certificates and the
matter was postponed to Monday.
