A woman and her three children have been brutally murdered in a Lagos church building causing serious tension on the area.

A woman and three children have been murdered at an uncompleted church building in Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, this was later confirmed by Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni.
Owoseni said that the police was called to the murder scene at about 4:30a.m. on Wednesday.
He said, “The incident happened at about 3 am this morning at Agbowa in Ikorodu.
“The three murdered children were aged four, five and nine.
“The mother of the children was also wounded and later died in the hospital.”
He said the police was yet to identify the motive behind the
murder, adding that the command had swung into action to bring the
hoodlums to book.
“We want to seize this opportunity to assure the public that we will continue to increase our visibility."
