controversy will be laid to rest tomorrow.

The Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has invited the Senate
President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the Federal
House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara to the official Budget
Signing event of the 2017 Appropriation Bill.
A top National Assembly source disclosed on Wednesday that the
Budget Signing will take place tomorrow, Thursday 1st June, 2017 by
9.00am at the Aso Rock Villa with Acting President Osinbajo giving
executive assent.
According to the source, the invitation to both leaders of the
National Assembly was conveyed through the Senior Special Assistant to
President Muhammadu Buhari on National Assembly Matters, Ita Enang who
met with both Saraki and Dogara today.
It was gathered that Ita Enang, the senior special assistant to the
president on legislative matters, officially informed the leadership of
the national assembly that Osinbajo will sign the budget on Thursday,
June 1.
"Enang informed the leadership of the senate that acting president would be sign the budget tomorrow at 9am,” he said.
“So, the presiding officers are expected to be there.”
