The event Edo Basic Education Sector Transformation ( Edo best) 2018 is aimed making the analogue system of teaching in Edo state to Digital system of teaching.
His excellency, Godwin Obaseki  while speaking in his speech promises to make edo state back and better within the remaining months of his tenure.

The event was held today 10th October 2018 at the university of Benin Sport Complex, the event was engrosed by some many dignitries like Oba of Benin, chairman of local Government area, colleges, Gentle men of the press, Distinguished ladies and gentlemen etc and so many order of events took place.

In an appealing speech by the representative of the Nigeria Union of Teachers ( NUT ) to the Governor of Edo state ' Governor Godwin Obaseki  said,

1. What is good in the analgue should be incoporated to the digital, like handwriting in school ( whereby teachers will hold their hands to write but now it's not part of the system)

2. Local language of teaching: This is not a part of what we are teaching in the schol, this should be looked into.

3. Accomodation: During the days of this event our teachers hasn't been given a comfortable accommodation, your excellency sir,  please provide a comfortable accommodation.

4. Those who Attended April Edo Best 2018 are here to get their stiped, please your excellency do something about that

There is a popular slang by the Edo State teachers saying 'If you can read and write thank your teacher, if you can't read and write blame your teacher'

The representative of the Nigeria Union Of Teachers also gave a Sum of #100,000 to one of his colleges for her good works and deeds in her administration, and the sum of money is to be collected on the 12th of October 2018.

We are happy today, we have a listening governor, your excellency, you have done so many things in edo state and we still want to see more from you.
