Olukoya Like I use to say all over the place, a time will come in your life, if the time has not already come as you're seating down there, that your greatest need is for God to answer your prayers.  There are prayers: some prayers go up and bring down nothing. Some prayers just remain at the level of the breeze you're blowing from your mouth. Some prayers are been said, alot of activities are going with the prayer but they are not meeting their targets because the prayer stones you're throwing are not meeting those targets. The effectual and the availing power, is dependent on the righteousness of the fellow who's saying the prayers. Heaven first looks at the righteousness content of the prayers you're praying. If the person praying is a gossiper, fornicator - that prayer will not be effective. The mystery of accurate prayer 1. Righteousness of the person saying those prayers. 2. Fervency of the prayer: when prayers are not fervent. They go up and bring down nothing. 3. The accuracy of that prayer: every battle that we face in life has its own strategy before victory can come. Any good army must have plenty of weapon because every weapon is not for battle. All good prayer warriors will have plenty of prayers. They carry the appropriate "prayer weapon" they're facing. Many factors are considered when you're about to fight. For instance, the geography, terrain, study the strength and weakness of the enemy, weather. The troops and weapons you're going to use to fight your enemy in a swampy terrain will not work in a mountain terrain. In the spiritual realm, every battle has its own relevance strategy. Merely saying prayers is not all that matter in fighting spiritual realm. The natural holds relevance for the spiritual. There are prayers for pulling, seeking, knocking down, open heavens, pronouncing God, reformation, demolition, dominion, etc. Because of our infirmities, restricted understanding, lack of discernment, we know not how to pray. Not knowing how to pray are in 2 forms; 1. The worth of the prayer and 2. The how of the prayer. In summary; • We do not know the matter to pray about. Or the relevance or the make up of the content of our prayers. • Because what you need may not what you want. The way Elijah prayed for rain is dffierent from the way he prayed for fire to fall. How does the spirit helps us to pray? Is by letting the Holy Spirit intercede for us and through us. How does it happen? Romans 8:27, explains the reason how. The Holy Spirit address what we cannot address. Prayer is not merely a single weapon but an armoury of all kinds of weapons. Prayer Points [After Ministration] 1. Arrows that want me to die the death of my enemies, backfire in the name of Jesus. 2. The miracle that will multiply my joy, I am available, locate me now, in the name of Jesus. 3. Powers registering my name for tragedy, catch fire, in the name of Jesus. 4. Any power, begging the wicked to make my life a dustbin, run mad and die, in the name of Jesus. 5. Lion of Judah, give my enemies wound that they cannot heal, in the name of Jesus. 6. Powers assigned to kill me because of my prayers, kill yourself in the name of Jesus. 7. Arrows of darkness, withdrawing my speed, your time is up, backfire, in the name of Jesus. |
