Many Homeless As Flood Takes Over Three Delta Communities, Destroy Properties

Some of the victims who spoke with our correspondent called on the Delta State Government to come to their rescue by providing relief materials as well as IDP camps for victims.

According to a report by Daily Post, many persons have been currently rendered homeless in Delta.

They were rendered homeless after flood ravaged three communities in Delta State

Several farmlands and other properties were also destroyed by the flood.

The communities ravaged by the flood include Okwagbe, Iyede-Ame and Agbodobiri Communities in Ughelli South, Ndokwa East and Bururu Local Government Areas respectively.

At the time of filing this report, there are no IDP camps for victims of flood-ravaged communities.
