I Got To A Point I Couldn’t Attend Parties Without Her - Rema Speaks On Ayra Starr

Popular Nigerian singer, Rema, has talked about fellow singer, Ayra Starr.

He says at some point in his career, he could not attend social events or parties without Ayra Starr.

In an interview with Cool FM, the ‘Calm Down’ crooner said he likes to attend parties with the ‘Bloody Samaritan’ songstress because she has a lot of “vibes and ginger”.

The 22-year-old also said that he bonds with Boy Spyce and Bayanni, the Mavin Record signees, on “different levels” whenever they are in the studio.

“Ayra is a vibe. There are a lot of times… It got to a point where I just could not go out to parties without Ayra.

"She is a vibe and she has ginger. Even Boy Spyce, Bayanni, we just bond on different levels,” he said.

Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor, has been enjoying massive reception from music lovers since he came into the limelight.

The singer has also won several awards and recognition.

In 2019, he won the ‘Next Rated’ gong and was nominated for Viewer’s Choice at the 13th edition of The Headies. He received the Soundcity MVP Awards for ‘Best New Artist’ in 2020.

Rema was also nominated alongside Burna Boy and Wizkid in the ‘Best Viewers Choice: International Act’ category at the 2020 BET Awards.
